The Council plays a key role in
promoting and encouraging public participation within the
seven counties and the municipalities in the region. Council
staff can provide certified and trained Planners to assist
local governments with any of their public participation
needs. Our technical assistance includes one or multiple
day public workshops, visioning presentations and Charettes.
Currently the Council offers assistance in the following
areas:
- Planning – Assisting
in the planning and scheduling of any public participation
process
- Management –
Managing single and multiple day public participation
events
- Facilitation –
Facilitating one and multiple day presentations, workshops
visioning and Charettes
