The Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC) has been recognized by the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) with two 2026 Aliceann Wohlbruck NADO Impact Awards, honoring projects that demonstrate excellence in regional planning, collaboration, and community impact.

NEFRC received awards for:

  • Northeast Florida Regional Resilience Action Plan (RRAP) – Phase 2

Named in honor of NADO's founding executive director, the Aliceann Wohlbruck NADO Impact Awards recognize innovative projects that strengthen communities through regional partnerships, economic development, infrastructure investment, resilience, workforce development, and strategic planning.

This year, NADO recognized 94 projects led by 58 organizations across 20 states. Award recipients will be honored during the 2026 NADO Annual Training Conference in Reno, Nevada.

These awards reflect the power of regional collaboration and the Council's commitment to delivering innovative solutions that support resilient communities, strengthen local economies, and improve quality of life throughout Northeast Florida. NEFRC is proud to work alongside local governments, regional partners, and stakeholders to advance initiatives that create lasting benefits for the communities we serve.
