Newsletter Cover

The June edition of the Northeast Florida Regional Council Newsletter is now available, featuring the latest updates on the projects, partnerships, and initiatives strengthening communities across Northeast Florida.

This month's newsletter highlights the importance of regional preparedness as hurricane season begins, showcasing how NEFRC works alongside local governments, emergency responders, healthcare partners, and community organizations to enhance resilience before, during, and after disasters. Readers will also find updates on the Healthcare Coalition Program, Community Visioning Program, Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), Regional Leadership Academy, Emergency Preparedness exercises, and the Council's newest economic development and resiliency initiatives.

Also featured is the announcement of NEFRC's receipt of a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Assessment Grant, which will provide new opportunities to support community revitalization and economic development throughout the region.

As the Council continues serving Northeast Florida, our commitment remains the same—to bring communities together, provide technical expertise, and foster the regional partnerships that create stronger, more resilient communities.
